Family Support Worker
£10.50 per hour plus holiday pay
Zero hour contract
We Are Beams are looking for staff to join our team. You will work on a 1:1 basis with a young person at our respite unit in Hextable, as well as out in the community.
Your role will be supporting disabled children and young people in a short break environment, enabling each young person to fully participate in activities of their choice, providing support as needed for personal care and personal development and encouraging them to take part in social activities in the community.
Ideally you would need to drive for this role and have business class on your insurance as young people will need picking up and taken back to their homes.
Hours will typically be after school during term time and day shifts during school holidays. A usual shift could be 3pm to 7pm on a week day.
We are flexible and can arrange shift patterns around you! Successful applicants will need to have an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.

Sessional Support Workers
Needed for the Easter and Summer holidays to work with our disabled children during the holidays.
Good rates of pay. Flexible days. Would suit a student nurse or doctor, teacher working in SEN or undergraduate interested in working in social care.
